Time Traveler

Time Traveler was in a happy joyous mood. I told him to hold that pose. I’ve painted John Downs so many times that I have lost count. As we were talking someone came into the studio while we were arguing about some long forgotten topic and asked… why do you paint him so much? Both of us just looked at the person with a semi scorn , semi amused and a semi mischievous glare … then Time Traveler blurted out… Why shouldn’t he paint me? I’m the only one worth painting in this town. Besides I’m famous and that painting will probably be worth something someday. He smiled then burst into a jolly belly laugh. Then he glared at me and asked… so… really… why do you paint me so much Don Panchito ?
